7. Educational Institutions and Industry Professionals

Although we identify as an educational service, from time to time and under very special circumstances, we will provide the first point of contact between you and third party professionals. We may work with colleges, universities, scholarship providers and educational institutions ("Educational Institutions") to provide targeted recruiting and outreach to some of our members. We also may work with casting directors, agents, theatre directors, artistic directors, and other industry professionals (“Industry Professionals”) to provide some recruiting and outreach to some of our members. We do not share your personal contact information (email address, phone number, location, etc.) with these Educational Institutions and Industry Professionals without your consent, but we may send you information on their behalf. We only will share your information with those parties, so that they may contact you per your consent. If contacted by a third party, we are not responsible for their privacy policies and practices. Polish Your Passion only serves as a point of initial contact and holds no responsibility for the subsequent interactions between you and these Educational Institutions and Industry Professionals. If you decide that you no longer wish to receive communications from a third party educational institution or industry professional, then you will need to contact that third party directly.

8. Your Choices About Collection and Disclosure of Your Information 

• You may choose to not provide us with certain information, but please be aware that it may create limitations on Polish Your Passion’s ability to provide you with personalized products and services at the highest quality. Without certain information, it may result in you being unable to use certain features on our website because such information may be required to complete purchase forms for products and services.

• When you purchase products or services, your email address may be added to our email list server for email messages and/or newsletters that update you regarding product updates, special offers and discount codes, improvements, special events, surveys, etc. At any time, you can choose to no longer receive promotional emails or newsletters from us by emailing admin@pypnyc.com and we will remove you from our email list. At the bottom of every commercial email that we send you, you will have the option to opt out of receiving email messages in the future. It may take up to 7 days to process this request. Please note that, although you will have chosen to opt out of email communication with Polish Your Passion, we do not have the power to access information that you have provided yourself to third party sources. Refer to their individual policies to opt out of email communication with them.

We use Authorize.net, a payment gateway, to receive payment. Authorize.net is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCI DSS") as a Level 1 service provider. PCI DSS is the bankcard industry's most stringent security standard. Authorize.net will ask you to provide credit or debt card details, in order to complete transactions on our website. This information is retained by Authorize.net and is not passed on to us. Our Website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites. When our users leave our site, we encourage them to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personal information.
